chris huntly-turner, co-artistic director (Sydney)

Australian born, Chris completed his actor’s training at the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama and has worked extensively in theatre in the UK. As a Co-Artisitic Director of Fledgling Theatre Company, Chris has led the development of its new writing program through two development seasons and established two development ensembles - the original London ensemble and the most recent Sydney creative team. He has worked on theatre education programs, directing productions for youth with behavioural issues (gang violence, drug crime, juvenile detention) as well as directorial work for Fledgling Theatre Company in London and numerous short film projects. He has directed the debut double bill of Fledgling Theatre Company's RATS: Moonshine/Dirt at the Old 505 Theatre in 2016 and most recently directed the Sydney run of Modern Jesus at The Depot Theatre. 

 

CALLUM CAMERON, CO-ARTISTIC DIRECTOR (LONDON)

Callum is an Actor, Writer and Co- Artistic Director of Fledgling Theatre Company. He trained at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. His debut play as a writer 'They Built It. No One Came.' was produced by Fledgling Theatre and finished a UK Tour in Summer 2017. He is currently developing 'Neck or Nothing' with Fledgling Theatre and another play 'celebrate' which has been shown at the Arcola and The Old Red Lion.

No One Came. (UK Tour/Greenwich Theatre), After Party (Pleasance), 1001(Southwark Playhouse), Redpilled (Arcola), Jericho Creek (Cockpit), The Duchess of Malfi (New Diorama), Richard III (Hiraeth), Slingshot (The Park Theatre)

 

CHRISTOPHER NEELS, CO-ARTISTIC DIRECTOR (LONDON)

Christopher Neels is a New Zealand born actor, writer and director based in London. He trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and has a Masters in Contemporary Acting. In New Zealand he wrote and directed The Terrific Tale of Tabatha Talmus (Basement Theatre), These are the Skeletons of Us (Basement Theatre/BATS), The Seven Funerals of Charlie Morris (Basement Studio), Brogilantes (Wilton Garage). His play Hummingbird was produced for a short season at The Basement Theatre. He also directed Leopard for Playfight Productions. For Fledgling Theatre he has wrote and directed Modern Jesus (Nursery Theatre London) and co-wrote and directed Jericho Creek (Cockpit). He is currently developing 'Neck or Nothing' with Fledgling Theatre.

Film credits include: Jack Harlem (Bobbin Productions - Web Series), Strongman; A Mining Disaster (Avalon Productions – TV Movie), Honk if You’re Horny (Avalon Productions – Short) and Brown Bros (South Pacific Pictures – TV). 

 

Patrick Holt, Co-Artistic Director (London)

Patrick Holt is a founding member of Fledgling Theatre Company and has been involved in all three of their productions to date. Other theatre credits include: Doctor Scroggy's War (Shakespeare's Globe), Play of Thrones (The Union), Wolf Kisses (Arcola) and News Revue (Canal Cafe). He trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
